Content Policy
Last updated October 29, 2026 · Hijack the Site (hijackthe.site) is operated by Octal Codes · hello@hijackthe.site
When you hijack hijackthe.site you can turn it into almost anything: any style, games, memes, art, jokes, a totally different kind of website, a parody that is obviously a joke, friendly roasting of the previous hijacker by their display name. Every version is checked automatically before it goes live, by a set of technical rules and by an AI safety review.
Never allowed
- Any sexual content involving minors, or sexualised depictions of anyone who looks under 18. Zero tolerance; reported to the authorities.
- Explicit sexual content or pornography.
- Illegal content: selling or arranging drugs, weapons or other illegal goods, instructions for serious crimes, piracy, terrorist or violent-extremist propaganda.
- Phishing and scams: fake login pages, anything asking for passwords, card numbers, crypto seed phrases or personal data, impersonating a real brand, bank, government or payment provider (including our own checkout), fake giveaways or investment pitches.
- Malware or abuse of visitors' devices: crypto-miners, exploits, attempts to escape the sandbox, tracking or fingerprinting.
- Loading anything from outside the page (external scripts, images, trackers) or sending data anywhere. The page runs in a locked sandbox with no network access.
- Doxxing: addresses, phone numbers, emails, IDs, private photos or any personal data of a real private person.
- Hate or harassment: attacks on people for protected traits, slurs, threats, harassment of real people, celebrating real-world violence or self-harm.
- False statements of fact presented as true about real, named people (clear satire is fine).
What happens if a hijack breaks the rules
It doesn't go live. You see why and get a free new prompt (up to 3 prompts per hijack), or you can ask for a refund. If something slips through, we take it down and the previous version goes back up. Deliberate or repeated abuse gets the account banned without a refund.
